The 2019 STAAR Leaders Scholarship Awards Dinner was held on July 26th.

After Ms. Veronica Dasher, Community Outreach Manager of Rochester Gas and Electric gave an inpiring speach on Empowering Our Youth Through Education, STAAR Leaders awarded scholarships to nine (9) deserving college bound students within the local community.

During the evening, STAAR Leaders also awarded the 2019 Community Leadership Award to Mr. Jerome Underwood, President and CEO of Action for a Better Community for his commitment to community service and years of demostrated leadership,

The next Awards Dinner would be held on July 31, 2020!
