Eddie was a sweet hard working man who enjoyed golfing and bowling. He was dedicated to his work at the VA Outreach Center but especially his music and Thatt Groupp. STAAR Leaders and the scholarship sponsor are proud to dedicate this award in Eddie’s memory to help keep his legacy alive.

The Eddie E. Israel –Thatt Groupp Scholarship Award is an annual award given to any college bound individual who has maintained a good academic record in high school or college. The recipient of this award is expected to have some community service repertoire.
