Jason Blake is a 2010 graduate of Franklin High School in Rochester, New York. Jason finished second in his graduating class.

Mr. Blake is a freshman at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York. He will pursue a degree in International Business. His aim is to become a successful business man in a community based company.

Jason is involved in his church community and has the ability to inspire the people around him. He embodies the essence of perseverance and determination.

In his own words, Jason states that: “Despite all the hardships I have faced, I have not lost faith and strive to do my best. My involvement in the community has helped me learn what type of person I want to be, and what I need to do to become that kind of person.”

Jason has inspired all of us at STAAR Leaders of Rochester with his strong academic background despite the hardships he has endured. We are pleased to have him as a STAAR Leaders Scholar. The scholarship sponsor and STAAR Leaders are pleased to honor Jason as the  2010 Dr. William and Ann Seese scholarship recipient.
