2023 STAAR Leaders Scholarship Awards

On Thursday August 10, STAAR Leaders of Rochester, Inc. will award scholarships to eight (8) desrving college bound students residing within the Rochester and surrounding communities (Monroe County).

Since the introcuction of the scholarship program in 2009, we have awarded ninety-seven (97) scholarships to deserving students within the community. Tonight, we will award eight (8) more scholarships.

Keeping up with our perpetual goal of continuous improvement upon prior year‘s accomplishments, STAAR Leaders achieved the following:

We added a new scholarship Irazetta Martin, to support a young man or woman perusing a college degree.

STAAR Leaders of Rochester, Inc. is a non-profit leadership organization committed to strengthening communities through training, support, and development of our youth. STAAR Leaders establish  programs that empower future leaders to learn critical thinking, leadership, and technology skills; as well as manage a scholarship fund that support aspiring scholars within the community.
